In the Land Judging contest, 4-H members analyze a soil profile and judge things like soil texture, slope of the land, drainage, and erosion to determine the usefulness of the site. The contest is open to all Weakley county 4-H members from 6th to 12th grade and takes place in the early fall. The Regional contest takes place at either UT Martin or Ames Plantation, rotating back each year.
